COVID-19 - BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE: Deposit free booking + no payment due until 35 days before the tour starts

QHow do I book on to a tour? Is there really no deposit?

To reserve your place on a tour simply contact us by phone, email, or enquiry form. If the tour is more than 70 days away no deposit will be required and you can cancel your reservation for free up until 70 days before the tour starts. If you are booking a tour that starts in less than 70 days then full trip payment will be required to book onto the tour.

QWhen is the final balance for my tour payable?

You must pay for your tour, in full, by 70 days before the tour starts at the latest.

QAre flights included?

International flights (so the flights to the start of and home from the end of your trip) are not included with your booking. You are responsible for booking tour flights and we cannot book your flights for you. However, we are very happy to help you with your flight search and make recommendations.

QDo I get my own room?

You have the option to book based on sharing a room or having your own room. People do get nervous about sharing a room with a stranger but clients who do it usually love it! Room sharing is based on quality twin-bedded rooms with someone of the same gender. We will even ask you a few questions to try and get you paired with the right roomie.

QHow many meals are included in my tour?

This differs from tour to tour. Please see the specific tour pages for a list of what is included. As a broad answer, all breakfasts and at least a few lunches and a few dinners are usually included.

QCan you cater for different dietary requirements on your tours?

The short answer is yes. If you have dietary requirements we will work with the local team, the hotels and your guide(s) to ensure we can meet your needs. It does depend on your precise dietary requirements and the specific tour exactly how well we can cater for your requirements. Some countries are less suited for some dietary needs. We will be honest with you so you know what to expect and then you can make a decision on whether to book onto the tour.

QWhen do I meet my fellow travellers and the tour leader?

You will meet a member of the Prime team on arrival at the destination airport. You will then be transferred to your first hotel where you will meet your fellow travellers. We will connect you and the other group members via WhatsApp approximately 1 month prior to the start of your tour.

QWhat do I do if I want additional nights at the start or end of the tour?

If you would like, we can book your additional nights at the first or last hotel of the tour.

QCan you help me with other arrangements around the tour?

Here at Prime Solo Adventures, we have years of experience creating tailor-made plans for people. We would be more than happy to help you with arrangements before or after your Prime tour.

QWhat type of tours does Prime Solo Adventures run?

Our tours are specially designed for adventurous solo travellers in their 50s & 60s. We operate small group tours with a focus on exclusive experiences and boutique hotels. The hotels we use (and our price-points) are higher-end than the market average.

QWhat are the people who travel on Prime Solo Adventures tours like?

We operate adventurous group tours for solo travellers in their 50s & 60s and we have designed the tours to include premium experiences and quality hotels. As this is the case, we tend to attract slightly more active clients in their 50s and earlier 60s who don’t mind paying more for an exceptional, premium experience. Our clients are made up of (often nervous) first-time solo travellers and experienced travellers alike. We get slightly more enquiries from female travellers than males.

QHow many people will be in my tour group?

The minimum group size is 4 and the maximum group size is 12. Typically we look to run tours with 6 to 10 people.

QHow do I know my money is safe and protected?

Your trip payment is fully protected by The Travel Vault/Towergate Insurance. In the highly unlikely event that Prime Solo Adventures goes into insolvency, your money is 100% protected. As part of the terms and conditions of your booking, you are required to have full travel insurance, this is common practice in the travel industry and will protect you in the event that you have to cancel your tour.
