Our flexible booking terms and your financial security clearly explained


At Prime Solo Adventures we understand that the world suddenly feels very different. Though the impulse to travel may be stronger than ever it feels risky to book travel in these uncertain times. We’re doing everything we can to make our booking terms as flexible and risk-free as possible. You can be sure of a full dialogue with us before and after you make your booking. Below is a summary of our flexible, risk-free booking terms.

Flexible booking with no deposit required

Reserving your space on a Prime Solo Adventures tour is easy and risk-free. No deposit is needed to book onto our tours and you can cancel for free up until 70 days before the tour starts. With risk-free terms like that you really can book with confidence.

Please do bear in mind that if you book onto a tour that starts within 70 days you will need to pay the full cost of the tour at the time of booking.

Your money - protected

We understand how important it is for you to know that the money you pay us for your tour is fully protected. Whether your tour includes flights or not, your money is 100% protected. That means that if we were to cease trading at any point after you have paid us for your tour, you would be guaranteed to get that money back in the event that your holiday couldn’t go ahead.

ATOL: If your tour includes flights then your booking is protected by ATOL (Air Travel Organisers Licence). ATOL is administered by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority). It is a legal requirement that we report all bookings that include flights to the CAA so that your trip is ATOL protected.

The Travel Vault/Towergate: If your tour does not include flights then your booking is fully protected by The Travel Vault/Towergate. This cover is included in your booking with Prime Solo Adventures. The Travel Vault/Towergate operate an insurance scheme that protects your money should we cease trading. This means that The Travel Vault/Towergate will refund all of the monies paid to us for your tour.

The Travel Vault/Towergate provide this statement to explain your protection:

“Prime Solo Adventures is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance with "The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018" all passengers booking with Prime Solo Adventures are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation form. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Prime Solo Adventures. This insurance has been arranged by The Travel Vault in conjunction with Towergate Travel through Zurich Insurance PLC.”

Policy exclusions: This policy will not cover any monies paid for travel insurance. This policy will not cover any claim relating to flights (that is what the ATOL cover is for). If you have booked flights as part of your travel, you should ensure that the company with which you booked the flights has the appropriate CAA/ATOL bonds in place.

Travel Insurance

On top of the financial protection that we provide, you are required to have full travel insurance as part of your booking terms with us. This is common practice in the travel industry and protects your money should you not be able to travel on your tour due to unexpected circumstances.
